BioPro is a pre- and pro-biotic feed supplement containing Yea-Sacc1026 and Fructo-Oligio-Saccharides (FOS), which have supportive effects on the beneficial micro-organisms within the horse’s digestive system. These combine in helping to maintain intestinal and stomach health, and so maximise the uptake of nutrients.

Horses, just like humans, have digestive systems adapted for their environment. But we can give nature a helping hand by promoting a healthy “digestive flora”. By creating a positive environment for the microbes that assist in digestion, BioPro can act to ensure that your horse gains the most from its food, and avoids digestive disorders and disturbances.

Feed BioPro: to maximise fibre digestion in any horse or pony, but specially

during times of stress

competition, performance, travel, irritability, restlessness, weaving, windsucking, cribbing,

nervousness, changes in routine and box rest

to support the gut micro-organisms, after administration of veterinary medication and particularly antibiotics

to older horses especially those with teeth problems

to any horses and ponies showing signs of digestive problems or gut disturbance

to all lactating mares and to foals during weaning

suitable for founder (laminitis) prone horses and ponies

BioPro supplies the scientifically recommended amounts of 10g of Yea-Sacc1026 and 15g of fructooligosaccharides (FOS) for a 500kg horse, contained in 1 3/4 scoops. Fed together, they help to support the hindgut and promote overall gut health.

1 level scoop of BioPro weighs approximately 24g/0.8oz. Feed supplements should be fed according to bodyweight - height has been given only as a guide. Introduce gradually, splitting between feeds (when applicable). BioPro has been formulated to maximise the utilisation of nutrients in your horse’s fibrous feed. It is safe to add to your horse’s current ration continuously and alongside regular feed and any other supplements. Please allow at least 7-10 days for effects to be seen. Up to twice the recommended amount can be fed for up to 2 weeks

Fantastic Aid to recovery

My twelve year old mare was getting various food intolerances - her mother had the same at the same age - and was losing condition and weight rapidly. Bio-Pro fixed her within weeks. She now looks great and is full of health and vitality... I wouldn't have thought it possible, but seeing is believing!
