More Information - The horse and its natural behaviour

The horse evolved as a free-roaming, non-territorial herd animal, browsing for food day and night and occasionally running at high speeds to avoid predators. It is a prey species that is well adapted to detecting possible predators and reacting to them. The horse's natural response is to flee if frightened. Although most horses cope well with the intensive management of domestication, their instincts remain with them. Bearing this in mind, we cannot blame the horse for being anxious when faced with a new experience, spooking at the unknown or for being exuberant after overnight confinement in a stable. Nervousness and over-excitement are natural responses to the external environment. However, when a horse becomes unmanageable or his anxiety or fear is expressed as aggression, the problem needs to be addressed.

    Amazing!

I have been using Steady-Up for over 6 yrs. on a horse who has a metabolic muscle disorder called PSSM. Stress increased the number of muscle tying up attacks she had. Steady-Up helped her(and me!) to relax in all stressful sitations enabling her to become the all around horse she is today. Thank you Feedmark!

This is an amazing product. I used it on a Thoroughbred gelding who had attention problems and a wee bit of an attitude. This product helped me to get some excellent dressage training on him and he is now a junior rider's show jumper and doing wonderfully.
