The horse could be described as the ultimate athlete. Its musculoskeletal system has evolved to produce powerful and efficient movement at peak speeds of up to 18 metres per second and over long distances at 10 to 12 m/sec. It is capable of both high speeds and endurance. In fact, it has been proposed that the horse is already operating at the very limits of its athletic capabilities due to its almost perfect physiological make-up. Domestication has harnessed this natural athleticism, and our horses and ponies may spend 20 years or more in active work of all types. Just like every other athlete they are prone to post exercise stiffness, injury, and later in life, general aches and pains and loss of flexibility. Zerobute provides a natural way to soothe and maintain mobility on a long-term daily basis.
